Car Detailing Tips

  1. Wash your car under shade to avoid water spots and streaks on the paint and polish of your car.
  2. Use microfiber cloths. Microfiber cloths and towels are a perfect companion to car cleaners. They are extra soft, allowing you to clean and dry your car without scratching the surface of your car.
  3. Work from the top down. The bottom of your car is usually the dirtiest and comes into the closest contact with road contaminants. Working from the top allows water and soap to rundown and pre-wash the bottom portions as you clean the top, which saves time and resources.
  4. Use different washing tools for different areas of the car (such as the wheels, bumpers, exhaust ports, etc.) to avoid cross-contamination.
  5. Clean air conditioning vents using a paintbrush to expertly remove hard-to-reach debris and improve the air quality in your car.
  6. Use approved car shampoo and upholstery spray when cleaning the exterior and interior of your car.
  7. Clean carpets using a vacuum cleaner and electrostatic electricity, as this helps draw out dirt from the carpet fibers. You can create electrostatic charges by rubbing the carpet with thick rubber gloves.
